General Rules

Discipline

A. Discipline

  1. All students should be punctual and be in class before the first bell at 8.45 a.m.
  2. Students coming late require permission from the Principal.
  3. Full and clean school uniform must be worn. Speaking in English is compulsory.
  4. Running, shouting and whistling inside the school building are not allowed.
  5. Irregular attendance, disobedience, malpractice in examinations and unruly behaviour may lead to dismissal.
  6. Students are not allowed to consume eatables during class hours.
  7. Home assignments must be completed regularly and submitted on time.
Attendance

B. Attendance

75% attendance is compulsory for promotion to the next class.

  1. Students must attend school daily.
  2. Leave will be granted only for serious reasons.
  3. No half-day leave is granted.
  4. Repeated absence without leave may result in removal from the rolls.
  5. Students returning after sickness should produce medical certificates.
Fees

C. School Fees

  1. School fees are charged in three terms.
  2. Fees should be paid before the due dates.
  3. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  4. Habitual delay in payment may lead to removal from the rolls.
  5. All dues should be cleared before annual exams.

  • First Term : Before 15th July
  • Second Term : Before 15th November
  • Third Term : Before 15th February
Examinations

D. Examinations & Promotion

  1. Unit Tests and Summative Assessments are compulsory.
  2. Re-tests are not conducted except for official participation.
  3. Malpractice in examinations leads to expulsion.
  4. Minimum 35% marks and 90% attendance are required for promotion.
  5. Progress reports are issued after every assessment.
Activities

E. Co-Curricular Activities

  1. Participation in activities develops discipline and leadership qualities.
  2. Students are encouraged to participate in sports, games and cultural events.
  3. Facilities are provided for outdoor and indoor games.
  4. Literary activities and fine arts are encouraged.
  5. School organizes picnics and excursions.
Parents

F. Parents' Co-operation

  1. Parents should co-operate with the school in maintaining discipline and punctuality.
  2. Parents should check homework and progress reports regularly.
  3. Presence at Parents-Teachers meetings is compulsory.
  4. Parents should encourage participation in school activities.
  5. Communication regarding complaints or requests must be addressed to the Principal.
  6. Parents should ensure proper uniform and grooming.
